1. VERKONDIGING EN AANBIDDING (PROCLAMATION AND WORSHIP): NA BO GERIG

Doel: om die gemeente te lei in teologiese en geestelike groei in aanbidding en lofprysing.

“The worship service as a public gathering is central to meeting with God and the fellowship of believers where proclamation of the Word takes place, sacraments are shared, prayers are offered, hymns are sung, and offerings brought, keeping in mind how this is done in other congregations, so that members can freely participate when attending services in other congregations.

Related to this is the progressive teaching of the Word and doctrine of the church to all baptized members, who confess their faith as well as further teachings, instruction according to individual circumstances.”

Agenda/Werksaamhede: Prediking; Erediens en Liturgie; Beplanning en Evaluering van eredienste en prediking; Verwelkoming van erediensgangers voor erediens; Toesien van gladde verloop van eredienste in noue samewerking met leraar of predikers; ontwikkeling van geestelike musiek en sangkultuur onder alle ouderdomsgroepe; toesig oor musiekinstrumente; werkswinkels, konferensies, kampe.

 

2. GEMEENTELIKE BEDIENINGE (CONGREGATIONAL MINISTRIES): NA BINNE GERIG

Doel: om die plaaslike gemeente strukture op te bou en instand te hou.

Het gereeld aktiwiteite en programme om hande en voete aan hulle doelstellings te gee. Hulle sorg dat die gemeente van binne “gesond” is en “gesond” funksioneer.

“The congregation lives as the family of God (koinonia), bound to one another, mutually sharing joy and sorrow, each considering the other higher than him- or herself, accepting responsibility for one another’s spiritual and physical needs in mutual care for one another, in mutual sharing of one another’s burdens.
The instruction for baptised members and practicing members in the Word of God and teaching (doctrine) of the church in addition to the instruction through the Word of God in the worship service.”

3. DIENSGETUIENIS (SERVICE AND WITNESS): NA BUITE GERIG

Doel: om die gemeente te lei in teologiese en geestelike groei in die uitlewing van Getuienis en Diens

Agenda: Koördineer aktiwiteite van verskillende bedieninge; stimuleer aksies om die Evamgelie te verkondig in en buite die gemeenskap deur word en daad. Werkswinkels, kampe, konferensies.

 “The spiritual and physical service and care for one another and for all needy and suffering people. The witness ministry which arranges in an organized manner the congregation’s responsibility to proclaim the gospel to the community in which the church lives and works as well as to the world at large.
The equipment of congregations and congregants for the various ministries of service and witness, which the church renders, according to individual circumstances.”

Aspects of Service and Witness: Mutual and Pastoral Care; Diaconal Services; Relief (food; poverty); Children and Orphans; Elderly; Crime Prevention and Prison Ministry; Substance (Alcohol & Drug Abuse); Ministry to the Sick; HIV and AIDS; Involvement in Missions; Involvement in Community Forums; Outreach programmes

Om getrou te wees aan die eerste drie bene van ons gemeente het ons ondersteuning nodig en is hierdie bediening verantwoordelik daarvoor.

 

1. ADMINISTRASIE, KOMMUNIKASIE, PUBLIKASIE EN ARGIEF

“Tell us about the administration in your congregation. (Church office; Church administrator; Secretary; Minutes of meetings; Filing cabinet).”

“Communication, Publication and Archive: Tell us about the communications in your congregation. (Announcements; Newsletters; Notice Boards; SMS; Email; Website; Archive.”

Algemene kantoor-administrasie van die gemeente; Monitering en Evaluering van die werk van die Administratiewe Beampte; Opstel en opdatering van dienskontrakte; Gemeentelike statistiek; Byhou van notules; Opdatering van Doop- en Lidmaatregister; uitreik van doop- en lidmaatsertifikate; argief; goeie kommunikasie na binne en buite gemeente; koördineer verslagdoening aan Ring.

2. FINANSIES EN EIENDOMME

“Tell us about the finances in your congregation. (Task team; Budget; Bank; Investments; Signing powers; Book keeper; Auditing; Report to congregation; Collections; Members contributions; Presbytery levies; Synodical levies; Synodical collections; Salaries; Pension; Taxes.”

3. EKUMENE

Die dagbestuur van die kerkraad vorm die kommissie vir ekumene en hanteer ekumeniese sake in samewerking met die kern- en ondersteuningsbedieninge

4. REGSAKE

Die kerkraad hanteer alle regsake, asook die moontlike revisie van die reglemente en bepalinge van die kerk, en adviseer binne-gemeentelik.

Dagbestuur of ’n Kerkraadstaakgroep kan hiervoor aangewys word soos nodig.

UITGANGSPUNT:

1. Elke lidmaat het gawe van God ontvang. Each member has received a gift from God

Ef. 4:7 – “Aaan elkeen van ons is ‘n genadegawe gegee volgens die mate waarin Christus die gawes uitgedeel het.”

“But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.”

 

1. Waarom het God die gawes gegee?/ Why were the gifts given to us?

Eph. 4:11-13

¹¹ So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, ¹² to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up ¹³ until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

12: “Sy doel daarmee was om die gelowiges toe te rus vir hulle diens en die opbou van die liggaam van Christus.”

           

• Waar kan u betrokke raak? Where can you become involved?

Die liggaamsbeeld (vgl. Rom. 13:3-8; 1 Kor 12; Ef. 4:1-16) help ons om te verstaan dat daar verskillende funksies van lede is, en dat elke lid dus belangrik is vir die gesonde funksionering van die liggaam.

The image of the church as the body of Christ, help us to understand that are different (a variety of) functions, and that each member is important for the healthy functioning of the body.

 

Al ons bedieninge, soos hierbo aangedui, is oop vir lidmate om betrokke te raak. Ons moedig ook lidmate aan om na vore te kom met nuwe idees sodat die gemeente ‘n lewende organisme sal wees.

As jy jouself deel van die liggaam beskou – en ons glo dat elke lidmaat deur hul doop en belydenisbeloftes deel is van die liggaam – behoort jy iewers betrokke te wees.
